FAQ
How do I book a boat?
You can reserve your boat online through our booking portal by selecting your preferred date and time. Reservations are recommended to guarantee availability.
When should I arrive for my rental?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled cruise time. This allows us to get you fitted with life jackets and complete a quick safety briefing and overview of basic operating rules.
What is included with my rental?
Every rental includes life jackets for all passengers, a primary safety gear kit, and basic operating instructions. No boating license is required for our electric mini boats.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund. Within 48 hours, we can offer a rescheduling credit. Same-day cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.
How safe are the boats for beginners?
Our electric mini boats are designed specifically for ease of use. They are quiet, simple to steer, and we provide a full reassured briefing before you leave the dock.
How long does the battery last?
Each boat runs approximately 5–6 hours on a full charge, depending on speed, wind, and passenger weight. For full-day rentals, we offer guidance on pacing your cruise and optional battery swap add-ons if needed.
How many people can ride on each boat?
Freedom boats are designed for one rider.
Double boats comfortably seat two adults.
For safety and performance, we do not allow additional riders beyond the stated capacity.
Can we fish from the boats?
Fishing is welcome. Please be mindful of hooks and sharp objects to avoid damage to the boat.
Do you offer delivery?
Delivery may be available on East and West Caroga Lake and nearby lakes for an additional fee. Contact us for details.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain does not automatically cancel rentals. However, if weather conditions are unsafe (lightning, high winds, severe storms), we will work with you to reschedule or provide a credit.
Your safety is always our priority.
What happens if the boat is damaged?
We understand accidents can happen. Renters are responsible for damage caused by misuse or negligence. Minor scuffs are expected with normal use.
A full damage policy is provided during booking.
Can we transport the boat ourselves?
The boats are lightweight and can be transported without a trailer. If you plan to use the boat on another nearby lake, please confirm with us in advance.
